Liv Tsim’s practice emphasises sensory experience and organic material. She is fond of exploring the inner connection between species and non-human-oriented ecology. In the process of studying the physical essence of biology and biological philosophy, she has been transferring their characteristics into playful and critical creations. Her works were exhibited in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Berlin, Brisbane, and Budapest, among others. In 2020, her artwork proposal, ‘Invasion Invader’ was selected for the Open Call of Art Future hosted by 1a space. Tsim received her bachelor’s training at the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University and will finish her MA Biodesign course in Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, University of Arts London in 2023.
